Well, that was a great Christmas!
We handpainted 100 wooden angels, offered a booklet about Christmas, and put them around Wooler - and had a lot of positive feedback. The Nativity photoshoot was a great time for conversations too - 19 different sets of people had their photo taken and had a lot of fun doing it.
We also had our annual Advent Fireside, a Christmas quiz and story telling event in the Anchor Inn, with good food and a small band to help us sing carols. The management and staff at the Anchor are a great bunch.
And some of us were involved in the Glendale Community Christmas Day event for people who live alone. A great turn out, cracking meals, and lots of fun.
A new venture starts this month. Crossing Places, in partnership with the other churches in Wooler, has been part of the team to set u Messy Church. Our first session (of 4 this year) will be on Sunday afternoon 14th January. Want to know what Messy Church is all about? visit https://www.messychurch.org.uk/ We'll be hosting a fun-packed event with crafts, stories, songs and a supper. The theme will be Noah' New Start.

Crossing Places on Tuesdays
We meet together most Tuesdays at 7.30pm (usually at 18 Magdalene Court, but it's best to confirm with Bill Eugster on 07736 408 763). We eat together, share together, learn about faith together, tell our stories about our own journeys through life, plan events, pray together - but not all on the same evening! Here's a sample of what's coming up...
